Sensory Experiential Hands-on Learning for Our Classroom
Help me give my students the best sensory materials including Magnetic Tiles, building blocks, and fidgets for experiential learning, engagement, and classroom participation!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Thank you so much in advance for your kindness and generosity to our special education experiential classroom learning experience! Our students have diagnoses of Autism and Developmental Delays and benefit from sensory motor and fine motor learning materials, including puzzles, matching activities, and so much more!!
I believe these specific materials will make a big difference in my students learning because I work with students with disabilities in a 6:1:1 setting and I know that my students require and enjoy sensory materials including the Magnetic Tiles, building blocks, and fidgets in this project to work for 5 to 10 mins.
It is essential for them to have materials they enjoy working with and materials they can stay engaged in the lesson. In the classroom we have 3 groups, and each groups require sensory materials for student to maintain focus and engaged when completing a task. Thank you so much for providing our students the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities!
