it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are my inspiration for doing my best. They strive to succeed each day, no matter if they are tired or having a not so good day. They come each day ready to learn and do their best!
Our school is in always in need of our support!
Parents are only able to help so much; we can do so much more! We need more support from you! Let's give these children the tools they need to reach for the stars! These children are our future!
My Project
The Squish & Squeeze Sensory Beads will be used for sensory exploration, to promote stimulating hands-on experiences with my students.
By activating the sense of touch, weighted items such as these may help people with autism spectrum disorders focus on the deep pressure of the items instead of other sensory stimuli from their surroundings.
Both the Calming Cuddle Ball and the Cuddly Puppy Weighted Shoulder Wrap will help my ASD students. This pressure may provide comfort and allow them to relax even in situations that may be over-stimulating.
The All About Today Calendar Board will help my students develop skills telling time, discussing the weather, etc. during circle time and also social skills. Finally the Alphabet Learning Locks and the Nuts About Counting will help my students develop language and math skills.
