This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students carry a wide-variety of learning and physical disabilities which pose impairments on their learning abilities, but show continuous motivation and excitement to come learn. These various sensory items will support all of my students' learning and provide them with the necessary tools to support academic challenges that they might face. With this indoor basketball hoop, we will be able to work on their gross-motor skills as well as peer engagement skills in the classroom on a daily basis. Many of our students can benefit from extra motivation in their peer engagement.
