My Project
These touch screens will put meaningful learning at the fingertips of my students. Each student has Autism and being able to touch their answers will greatly improve their abilities to make choices while engaging their senses at the same time. Sensory learning occurs throughout our school day. Making choices using a touch screen computer gives our students easier access to their curriculum and assessments. Coupled with sensory needs, these touch screens will help our students with Autism reach their fullest potential. Our students will remain engaged in learning for longer periods and be able to access more resources independently. The education and lives of my students will benefit greatly from using these touch screens. Your gift has helped students, both verbal and non-verbal, who would otherwise not have a voice in their education or daily lives.
