My Project
My students are non verbal preschool age students who often have a great deal of sensory needs and preferences. Many of my students have difficulty managing their executive functioning skills and regulating their bodies.
Sensory toys will help my students to regulate their emotions, receive input, gain skills and coping mechanisms and act as an incentive to work on their daily goals and activities.
We also will be able to utilize the cleaning supplies to keep our classroom clean and sanitized, as working with little ones who love to put everything in their mouths requires a great deal of sanitizing.
