This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every morning my students come into the classroom and work with individual sensory play materials and activities to get them ready for the day. The different materials will provide students with a sensory experience that will be engaging and stimulating. They will be a great way for students to strengthen their fine motor skills. Sensory integration also helps children regular their emotions and can have a positive impact on behavior. I would love to give my students therapy putty, sensory bins, and other different activities to engage in. Help me create an environment that encourages my students to play and create, while also meeting their sensory needs!
