This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The magnetic tiles and sensory supplies I am requesting in my cart are for my students to use when they need a break in the classroom. My students work best when their tasks are broken down into smaller units of time.

Giving them frequent breaks increases their time on task and ultimately improves their learning.

The support from donors is essential for most classrooms in my school. We are frequently underfunded and with the help from the donors chose community we are able to improve the everyday lives of our students. For this I am forever thankful!
