My Project

Our school is a public separate day school with a special education setting, for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. At our school, programming focuses on the socioemotional, behavioral, and academic needs of students who demonstrate difficulties regulating their emotions which impacts their ability access the general education curriculum.

At our school, we are unique and united.

We tailor our social emotional learning opportunities to meet students where they are and help them develop coping skills. We have created a Brain Lab where students can go to regulate their emotions with different sensory items which will help students return to baseline and successfully re-enter the learning environment.
