Sensory Bins for Some Amazing Special Education Students

Help me give my students sensory bins where they need to seek and find the items in the bin.

My Project

Students will be able to use down time to hunt for objects in the sensory bins ( animals, army men, dinosaurs,etc ). Bins will be filled with different items to enhance the sensation of touch such as beads, loom bands, rice, oatmeal, and pebbles. When the students touch the different items in the bin this helps their sensory system. When this happens it helps them to regulate their emotions and increase focus. By creating multiple bins students will not get bored with the same bin and multiple students can use the sensory items to help with sensory input.
