This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class needs a portable sensory table that we can move indoors and outdoors for hands-on fun. This large table will allow us to have water play on hot days, and sensory time indoors during centers. We will use different themed materials like fall leaves to touch, sort and scoop. We will also be able to print different themes and laminate them to relate to our curriculum themes.
At our young age, students learn best through hands-on exploration for engagement and experience.
We can use different textures through sand, rice and materials to help students regulate their bodies and learn independent play.
