Help me give my students personal magnet timers and chair bands to help them gain self confidence in their work and be able to have movement during their independent work.
Personal timers will help my students prepare for their state tests and improve fluency, while also helping them stay on task for a certain amount of time during independent work. Having timers for them to practice on their own will give them more confidence to read at their own pace and be successful no matter what is going on around them. Personal timers will also be used to help my students stay on task and be successful with their individual working time.
Chair bands will help all of my wiggly students be successful in the seats.
My students work best when they are allowed to move, but this can be distracting for others around them. With the chair bands, I hope to help my students that need to move by allowing them to have something, at their seat, to help them get their movements in.
My students came into fourth grade and had many goals that they wanted to reach. They have worked so hard as a group and individually. I want to give them resources to help them be even more successful than they are right now!
