My Project

The sensory items will allow me to create a sensory section within our classroom. Having a sensory area will assist in the social emotional development of my scholars. Sensory rooms or areas help children engage their senses in a safe environment. Additionally, sensory areas provide scholars with a safe place to regulate themselves.

As an educator, it is always my goal to cater to the whole child; by catering to the mental and social emotional wellness of a child we also cater to their academic growth.

Thus, setting our scholars up for success; something that every child deserves.
