Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project would be a dedicated space that both classes and small groups could access. They could participate in hands-on challenges and tasks designed for their specific grade and/ or group. This grant would allow us to start purchasing materials that would be housed and utilized in this space.
The materials required: LEGO bricks, dominoes, fidget toy sets, creative straws & building stem toys will not only help my students during science, but it will provide additional help to learn and find creative ways to learn through hands on materials.
This project allows for students to explore STEM related fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in their early education. These materials will help my students in all subject areas including math, science, and Financial literacy, to improve their daily living skills.
This project is designed to challenge students to create and learn through hands-on, personalized experiences. Makerspaces provide the opportunity to innovate, problem solve and be real life engineers!
Students will have the opportunity to be creative and apply personalized learning strategies to make changes to existing concepts or develop their own ideas, methods or products.
