My Project

A welcoming and comfortable classroom environment is often overlooked when considering what students need to be successful. But for many of my students, sensory supports aren’t just helpful—they’re essential. My hope for this project is to provide tools that help students focus, reduce distractions, and create a space where they can thrive emotionally and academically.

Fidgets give students a quiet, hands-on outlet for their energy and help them stay regulated and engaged during instruction.

These simple tools can make a big difference in helping students concentrate without disrupting the learning environment.

Collaborative coloring posters will give students a calming, creative activity they can work on together during breaks or down time. These posters not only provide a much-needed sensory break, but also promote teamwork, social interaction, and a sense of shared accomplishment—key skills we work on daily in our classroom.

By bringing these resources into our space, I’m hoping to support my students’ focus, boost their confidence, and foster a classroom culture that feels safe, supportive, and inclusive for every learner.
