This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Today, almost around the whole U.S., there is a shortage of teachers, especially in the special education department. Schools are struggling to meet all their students' needs and the lack of manpower does not help.

In my wishlist, I have sensory noise canceling headphones having these headphones would help me provide a safe, quiet, and

sensory-sensitive environment. Many students this year have asked me to listen to music or to come in at lunch so they can work in a less distracting environment.

Many of my students, not just the ones with IEPs would benefit from having access to noise-cancelling headphones, either during classwork time or testing.
