Help me give my students these sensory tools to help regulate their bodies and feel more successful and comfortable throughout the school day.

My Project

Sensory and calming tools are vital for people on the Autism Spectrum. Children with Autism can be easily overwhelmed around too many people, too much noise, being denied access to something they want, or even fatigue. People with on the spectrum often experience either hypersensitivity-an over responsiveness-or hyposensitivity-an under responsiveness to stimuli. Many have a combination of the two and sensory activities can help balance the senses.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student's ability to process sensory information and participation in the world around them.

The products I have chosen can provide improved coordination, enhanced fine motor and gross motor skills, brain stimulation and most importantly help calm down an agitated child. These tools will help my students to have an outlet and enjoy productive and calm days at school.
