This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how my students are always eager to learn and explore new things, despite the challenges they face. Each of them has unique strengths and needs, and sensory tools can make a huge difference in their learning experience. These tools will help them stay focused, calm, and engaged during lessons. For example, sensory bins and textured mats will provide tactile stimulation, while weighted lap pads and body socks will offer the deep pressure input they need to feel grounded. By incorporating these resources, I aim to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive."
