Senses in Science: Hearing, Seeing, and Moving Together
Help me give my students equipment to make learning Science more equitable for everyone! Headphones for each student, a standing desk for kids who need more movement and 2 more microscopes so each student can have their own!

My Project
Students learn best in various ways. Some lean on their hearing (auditory learners) while others are strong visually (visual learners). There are even kids who learn best when they have access to move in class (kinesthetic learners).
This Donors Choose Project, Senses in Science: Hearing, Seeing, Moving Together, seeks to find funding for specific equipment that will enhance student learning whatever their learning style might be.
I'm hoping to fund an additional 2 microscopes so that student groups of two can share one microscope. A standing desk in our classroom would make it possible for students who need more physical engagement to be up out of their seat, but still able to type, write in a notebook, and attend to the lesson without feeling constrained to a traditional seat. Headphones are an integral part of computer work when students are engaging with science simulations online. A new set will assure that every child has a pair of their own!
Anything that helps my students see, hear, and be more comfortable also ensures that they learn better! Donating today is a quick way to make learning equitable for every type of learner in my classroom. Please consider helping fund our Senses in Science Donors Choose Project.
