My Project

Please help me give my students incentives to continue their great work throughout the school day. These products can provide my students ways to express their feelings, develop creativity, and promote self awareness and independence. Providing my students with mental health techniques and strategies throughout the day will increase their success and provide them with the support they need in school. These great supports will set our students up for success through their day. These products are a great way to relieve stresses our students may face throughout their school day.

Part of our curriculum in our 6:1:1 classroom is to assist our students with social and emotional learning and regulation.

We aim to provide the tools the students need as well as a safe, calm place for students with disabilities to learn to self regulate. Our goal is to promote maximum independence with minimal prompt support. Every item requested will go to assist the students with sensory exploration, comfort, emotional regulation, and safety, which is key for students with an Autism diagnosis. The weighted animals will give students comfort and security while still engaging in lessons. The anger management balls with give the students support throughout the day to regulate their emotions. The sensory items (slime, balls, and squishies) will complete the area, allowing students the tools needed to independently regulate their mental health.
