This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love to read! They spend much time in the hallways, between classes, and waiting for the restroom. Having picture books posted in the hallways as story walks would allow the students to have access to reading all the time.

The picture books will be used in story walks where the students can view a story as they walk down the hallway.

The students love to walk around the halls and see the new story walk of the month. Story walks benefit all of the students by creating an atmosphere of literacy.
