Kindergarten is such an exciting time for my little kiddos to blossom into lifelong learners. I have so much passion for teaching and nothing brings me more joy than being with my Kindergarten students! Our Kindergarten students returning to a Hybrid learning model have many different needs. They are a diverse group of learners coming from many different backgrounds. We have students that are in the ESL program learning English as their second language. In addition to students with IEP's, students with Autism and developmental delays.
The Kindergarten students surprise me with their eagerness to learn, empathy, and determination each and every day!
All of our students are exceptional and deserve to have materials that will help with social-emotional regulation.
My Project
My kindergarten students have just returned to in person learning for the very first time this school year! The students are no longer allowed to share materials within the classroom. In the past students would work together to complete puzzles or projects. These types of activities promoted team work and confidence within my classroom.
Every student deserves the chance to be creative !
This project will allow each student to have their own Stem bins to design and complete projects. Their confidence will soar once they see that they are able to complete these tasks! The students will not only be gaining confidence while being creative, they will be using core math and science skills to complete each task. This will be a safe and engaging activity for all students.
