Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our campus teaches all lessons in small groups. The sticky easel pads would be used to create anchor charts for the students to use at the teacher table and for students to use in their reading stations. Hands-on materials like the whisper phones, line readers, sheet protectors, and the fidget toys would be used during station assignments to help students be successful. EXPO markers would be used by the students and the teacher during small group work.

These materials would be used to support reading instruction in small groups and allow students to grow as readers.

Small group instruction enables the teacher to focus on the needs on individual students while ensuring that all students are able to learn necessary skills. The pencil boxes will help the students stay organized during learning stations.
