Help me give my students supplies to be successful in class. Many of our students come to school without basic supplies to complete assignments and projects.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We need the basics! Many students in our classes are coming to school without the basic supplies they need to complete a variety of assignments and projects. We often are supplying our students with pencils and erasers on a daily basis. I have a pocket chart on my closet with a dwindling supply of markers that barely have any color left. Students would be excited to get a new batch of vibrant colors to use! We are teaching our students how to keep an organized binder for each of their classes. The filler paper will ensure that our students can take notes, brainstorm ideas, write, or work out math problems. All of these are essential to getting anything done!
