Sensational Sensory Supports

My Project

As a K0-K2 Learning Specialist, I've seen how my students have a wide range of sensory needs. Sensory bins are an easy and engaging way to calm overstimulated students and provide stimulation for students who are under-stimulated. Sensory bins also have the added benefit of working on fine motor skills in a fun and engaging way!

Sensory regulation is crucial for helping students be successful at school!

With a sensory bin area with activities such as Jumbo Farm Animals, Farm Animal Counters, and Mold & Play Sensory Sand Set, I can provide my students a space in the classroom where they can go to take a break and get their bodies ready to continue learning. By switching the bins out regularly, it will ensure students continue to be engaged in this useful tool and support their daily communication and social-emotional needs.
