My Project
I work in a preschool with students who have autism. My students are constantly seeking sensory input in many different ways. We currently don't have any tools that give them the vestibular input they need which includes spinning and rocking. This input is so important to helping them organize their bodies for learning. Other tools that are needed help give students proprioceptive input that is organizing to their nervous systems. We get to play all day and just need more tools to give our students the best chance we can for greater learning outcomes!
