This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hi! I am so excited to be working as a Special Education "CLaSS" Teacher in a new program on my campus! My students have been identified as having Autism and/or behavioral needs.
Students will be transitioning into the mainstream general education classrooms and I will be their "special" teacher who will support their social and behavioral needs. Our classroom will be set up to teach the daily 30-60 minute social lessons, as well as a safe area for students to decompress or work through meltdowns.
An emphasis will be on COOL, CALM and COLLECTED.
