Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

With inspiring science experiments my students are on a constant search for more information!

My students are meticulous sponges who are constantly on a hunt for the why and how in science!

They want to know the things that the experiments or low cost technology won't. Their school is an expeditionary learning school in the DC metro area. Each student has science 5 days a week!

My Project

These resources will enable students to read more about science. They will learn about things that the curriculum doesn't enable me to have time to teach and it will inspire more independent projects for students. I know that these books will inspire additional questions and even more research!

For a group of students who enjoy reading, but are at many different levels these books enable students to access science information on their level.

They don't need a big textbook to do their research and extension learning, many small paperback nonfiction books can do the same!
