This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This upcoming year, I will be teaching a College and Career Readiness course. This is where I hope to get my students to learn skills such as communication skills, interview question practices, work on college applications, organizational skills, and much more. To start off the year and to prepare them for the upcoming work and accomplishments, I want to provide them with the materials needed to make this happen.

My students deserve the best to help guide them through this tough year.

Senioritis and the overwhelming task of applying to colleges are a common issue for seniors. But giving them the tools such as binders, paper and organization items (i.e. To-do post-its and binder dividers) will help keep them on the right path. They will learn skills that I hope they will continue to use when they go off to college, when they are all on their own.
