Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our classroom is full of books, different types of technology, flexible seating, and music. Students are able to switch seats and complete their work all over the classroom, wherever and however they are most successful.
My students are a great group of students who love to move, create, learn, ask questions, and occasionally make a mess in the classroom.Whether they are listening to a read aloud or working on an interactive notebook entry, they are always putting their best feet forward.
They love being active, whether it's playing games in the classroom, going out to recess, or at PE.
My Project
The Teach Your Heart Out conference is in Houston, TX this year. For two days, teachers will listen to keynote speakers and attend sessions that are meant to inspire teachers and revive our love for education.
My main goal for this conference is to start the next school year with a reignited passion for teaching fourth grade.
I am so excited to spend two days with teachers that love teaching and want to share research-based and personal strategies to use in my classroom. I strongly believe that I will be able to bring some great ideas and strategies back to my classroom and to share with the rest of the school.
