My students need a Feeling Buddies Self Regulation Toolkit. The toolkit will provide a variety of hands on ways to teach children to self regulate. This will also set them up for greater academic success!

My Students

My kindergarteners hold such a special place in my heart. Each year, with every class, we end up like a family. Every sweet little kinder I've taught will always hold a special place in my heart!

My students are truly little sponges that soak up every moment of the day.

I love watching their little brains thinking and seeing the "light bulb" come on. My favorite part about teaching these little guys is that they are not afraid of being wrong. They are just completely honest with their thoughts and comments.

Overall, these kiddos help me to remember to be thankful for the little things in life. I know I am responsible for teaching them a lot of material throughout the year, however, I feel like I truly learn from them and they are the ones that help me become a better teacher each and every day!

My Project

The Feeling Buddies Self-Regulation Toolkit is a great way to turn behavior problems into academic achievement! It includes a variety of hands-on activities and music to teach children how to manage emotions and learn self-regulation skills. The Toolkit also helps kids learn strategies to self regulate independently and the appropriate language to use to help them with self control, empathy and other skills. This toolkit includes music, literacy and movement.

The Feeling Buddies are a comprehensive and innovative tool for teaching self-regulation.

The Toolkit is based on a unique strategy in which the adult teaches the child to self-regulate and the child teaches the Buddy to self-regulate.
