My Project

My kindergarten unit has seen a drastic increase in student behaviors in the classroom. We would love tools to help students help control their big feelings throughout the day.

With your support we can give our students tools and activities to practice strategies to cope, encourage appropriate language and physical behavior, as well as foster a strong community with peers.

Our building is utilizing a sensory room for breaks when a child becomes over stimulated but it would be beneficial to have some of these tools in our classrooms when another location is occupied or not accessible. We hope to store the supplies in the classroom with the use of the hand2mind storage cart.

Next year we expect the class sizes to increase and we do not want to emotions to increase in the students without resources to help.
