This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is made up of 18 amazing pre-K young learners who are curious, fun, and eager to explore. They enjoy coming to school to learn and play. At times our young learners struggle in managing their emotions in the classroom.
Our students will greatly benefit from having resources which will help them learn how to cope with their emotions.
Having a safe place to calm themselves down will be so helpful for our students.
The books, sensory rocker chair, turtle plush, and visual timer will give our young students resources they can use to help support positive emotional regulation. These items would be so helpful to our classroom family. Thank you so much in advance for helping our young learners on their journey.
