This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students at our school are kind, resilient, and motivated to learn. I have been teaching here for twenty-two years and each year I am lucky to meet and work with our youngest learners.
The items I am requesting in this project will help my students learn to self-regulate their emotions which will help them participate in all of the amazing experiences school has to offer.
Children are very often told to focus or pay attention but are never taught how. These materials will help support children in learning how to process their emotions.
