Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help my five students in my self-contained classroom! This is my first year as a teacher and I will be supporting and accommodating my five students with intensive autism. My goal is to have a huge focus on social emotional behaviors, as a lot of my students struggle with being able to regulate their emotions.
The Lakeshore Stand-Up Magnetic Design Center would be helpful for my morning meetings, and group meetings, so that the students can in engaged during these times.
It is hard for them to stay engaged and with having the visual support with the easel, it will support them during these times.
The calm down cube would be beneficial in my calm down corner, so that the students have a place to regulate and have their own space to calm down.
