Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These stable and low height storage/book shelves will be used by all students to access calming and emotional regulation materials in the counselors room. Students will be able to easily reach spinners, Play Doh, social & emotional books, and stuffed animals when they are going through a difficult time. These shelves are necessary, as there is no where to keep these materials for students.
I plan to have different areas in the room for students to self-regulate and learn valuable skills and strategies for their social snd emotional well being.
