This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is an SEL Model school. SEL stands for Social Emotional Learning. Each month we focus on a different SEL theme, during our SEL classes, we provide lessons and instruction to help our students acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions, and achieve personal and collective goals, show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions.
With a recreational foosball table, our students will be able to build camaraderie, work on good sportsmanship, and have a place to decompress and de-stress.
