My Project
COVID-19 continues to impact our students with long lasting effects of missed social and education opportunities, as well as family stress and death. The educational games and activities included will allow our students to work together, build social relationships, succeed and fail in a controlled environment, and make meaningful connections with staff at school.
Students will work in small groups or one-on-one with staff on skills such as math, reading, social emotional learning, team building, and more.
For example, building a magnetic tower together teaches teamwork and relationship building skills. A student with sensory needs requires a quiet environment to work. Noise canceling wireless headphones (Apple AirPods) will allow them to work and focus in class while remaining calm.
