My Students

My students are special and I am building these students to become active learners and students. Many of my students have unique needs that we are meeting every day to help shape them into learners. Kindergarten and first grade are the building blocks of these students' futures. My students all come from different backgrounds and experiences. Some students experience poverty. Some students experience death and loss. Other students have different family dynamics, yet we need to be able to provide instruction to meet all of their needs. My lessons are all geared to their experiences and how to make them the most successful in the school. I want to teach them how they can learn best.

My Project

These materials will help me give my some students some grief resources and also some fidgets for when they are learning through a whole group lessons. These fidgets are designed to keep them focused. We also need some organization bins/storages and a small diffuser to keep the good vibes going! Our books will be used during small group interventions; books are a great way to get the students to connect to the characters in the book to see that their feelings are valued and are not alone. The books will also be helpful in whole group lessons too!
