This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a school counselor and what I love most about my students are that they are resilient and so creative. We all know that all students have been impacted by COVID 19 in so many ways. From feeling isolated to grief and loss, our students and community have impacted in ways that are unexplainable. I am so happy we are able to be back in person and supporting our students once again.

Our school has prioritized social emotional learning for this very reason and many of the items and books within this list, will help to continue to support that.

I am excited to see what our students will create and express during our counseling sessions. Thank you!
