All of my students learn in unique and different ways. COVID-19 took a lot of their unique learning styles away and limited them. It limited their access to resources, social-emotional supports, and even their peers. My students deserve a learning experience which caters to their needs, in every way I can make possible.
These resources will cultivate a classroom community where students can feel supported, celebrated, and encouraged to take risks every day!
A device such as an iPad - will allow my students to stretch their creativity, find unique ways to interact with peers, and encourage the growth and development of their social-emotional learning through endless applications. The writing prompts will strength my students social-emotional learning in the classroom; which was minimal due to COVID-19.
These materials will foster discussions, bonding, and community building within our classroom. With these materials we will encourage future authors, engineers, teachers, doctors, and whatever else they want to be! It will also provide them great opportunities, which COVID-19 took away.
