Seeking Sensory

Help me give my students sensory items to meet their needs when feeling anxious with a light board, pillows, and more.

My Project

I work with autistic students of all ages and very often they require frequent sensory breaks.

Many students seek items to touch and some seek items with lights.

The light board and coloring gel pad board will allow for a variety of different drawing experiences with different textures for the students which can be very calming. The sensory tub of varying items will be wonderful for students to have access to in order to make choices and select what they need at any certain time. The mermaid pillows are also a popular sensory item for students with autism and will be a great addition to their reading corner.
