My Project
This year, I'm working with high school students who are just beginning their high school journey. My goal is to provide them with the best possible guidance and support, especially in developing self-sufficiency and independence, skills that are crucial for life and begin in the classroom.
I've observed that organization is a foundational skill that needs to be introduced on the very first day of school.
Teaching them how to organize their papers for both class and home would be a significant step in the right direction. They need binder dividers, rolling carts, shelves, folders, and a label maker to learn these skills. In the end, this helps them get closer to their goal of being on their own post-education.
