My Students

My students come from a low-income area in Southwest Missouri. These students are from a lower socioeconomic area and deserve to have access to high-quality materials. These students are creative and ready to learn, and I want to be able to provide them with the most innovative and effective education possible.

88% of the students that attend this school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

Money is tight at most of these students' homes, and these children need someone to invest in them. I am looking to partner with YOU, members of the community and DonorsChoose.org for the 21st Century learning materials - more specifically, headphones so my class can listen to audiobooks and more on their district-provided Chromebooks.

My Project

My students need headphones to enhance their learning through technology.

With headphones, we can do new and exciting things in the classroom, such as listening to audiobooks, math games, typing practice, building speaking, and listening skills, and also as a way to assist learners who have hearing or other learning deficiencies.

As a 2nd year teacher, I have seen how amazing things can be accomplished through DonorsChoose.org and with caring individuals like you to improve the lives of children in low-income areas.
