Seeing the World Through a New Lens: Analog Photography Exploration

Help me give my students the opportunity to explore analog photography and widen their perspective on art and the world around them! This project includes enough instant cameras for my art department, ehich serves over 300 students!

My Project

This project is designed to meet the needs of my students at Navo Middle School. Our students are diverse and inquisitive, and I desperately want to provide them with the opportunity to explore the joys of photography for years to come in their art classes. Because each of the instant cameras in this project are reusable, the impact of funding this project will be far greater than just the 300 art students we serve this year at our middle school: we will be able to provide similar units of photography instruction for years to come!

I want my students to see the world afresh and to acknowledge multiple perspectives on art and art-making.

I can remember my experience of learning analog photogrpahy in middle school, and it was learning that lasted a lifetime and motivated me to become a teacher who could design similary interesting units of instruction. By funding my project, you are supporting me, my students, and, who knows... maybe some future art educators!
