My Students
My students are a diverse group of kids that are brought together by the love of art. They learn best when they have the opportunity to use their hands and really experience things for themselves. When presented with a learning opportunity, they approach it head on with much enthusiasm.
My Project
Students should all have the opportunity to have a hands-on experience with learning for all subjects. However, when learning about living things (life science), students should be able to study the small parts of living organisms that are not seen by the naked eye in order to investigate the world in which they live. These microscopes and slides will give students this very opportunity. They will allow the opportunity for a deeper insight to the world around us.
As a seventh grade class, this is the first year students have a chance to really focus on science.
I want to give my students a kinesthetic learning experience in order to give them a deep understanding of the living things around us. It is important to learn through real observations and hands-on activities and labs.
