My Students

My students are little seedlings ready to be watered. I have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest young minds in the world. I strive daily to become the best teacher that I can be and expose them to as much as I can while I can. However, due to the current concerns for health and safety we have to make sure that we are providing our little ones with a clean learning environment. Our school is located in the rural Mississippi Delta. We are a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free lunches.

My Project

My class is filled with enthusiastic and energetic students who arrive daily ready to learn. It is my goal by the end of the school year to have the students performing above grade level. In order to do that I need to provide them with the best of everything. Education moving forward.

These are students who come from a very rural area in the Mississippi Delta and are not as privileged as many other children.

Despite the barriers that are presented they still strive to be the best in everything that they do. These students have worked hard in order to achieve the goals that are set forth for them and I want to provide them with the necessary resources and tools to make this possible.

The materials that are requested will be used as a visual aide tool for virtual as well as in person learners. I am requesting a Samsung tablet that I will be able to mirror images and videos from the tablet to a portable screen. The many different applications on the device will provide numerous opportunities for students to read, listen to stories being read, and write. Not only will this device be useful in reading but across the different subject areas. It will be a very valuable tool added to our classroom.

This project will provide our students with cutting edge technology that will help prepare them for the future.
