My students need a Digital Projection Camera for an easy way to view classroom demonstrations and a way to record their learning.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Kirby's classroom raised $273

My Students
In a classroom full of 20+ students, it can be difficult to view a demonstration or close-up project from one teacher.
The 1st grade students in my classroom are full of life and eagerness!
They are a wonderful group that loves to learn and question things they do not understand. Each student has a unique need and comes from a unique background. Some of them do not have opportunities to immerse themselves into a new digital age of learning. We come from a small, rural district. Most students have working parents.
My Project
The request for a digital camera projector would not only excite my students, but make teaching and learning much more efficient! Students will be able to view a close-up learning demonstration or learning opportunity by having it projected up onto our SmartBoard. Instead of doing 10 or more demonstrations, I would be able to do one and maximize learning time for students. Students will also be able to record their own learning by showing what they know and playing it for the entire class. I think this new dimension will excite them and make them even more eager to demonstrate their knowledge.
By giving toward this project, you will help the students become more independent learners and create an environment that promotes creativity, good work ethic, and the excitement that comes from being in a digital classroom.
The possibilities of having a digital camera projector are endless and I can't wait to see how my students respond!
