Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I currently teach fourth grade on the southeast side of Chicago. Fourth graders are at an age where they are curious about learning and want to strive to be their best. My students are full of questions and are always curious about new topics. Through e-learning, I want to meet those needs.
My Project
I will be teaching students remotely until at least April. While teaching students remotely, I have found that having two screens for my work space is the easiest way to see students while I am presenting material. Because of that I am asking for donations to purchase a second screen along with a cord to hook up the screen to my laptop.
By having two screens, I am able to manage the tab I am presenting, while seeing my students on the other screen.
This is extremely helpful, because it will allow me to see the students and the material at the same time. This will be a time saver, so I will not have to be toggling between several tabs at once. Students will be able to have my undivided attention while I'm presenting the material.
