it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a school social worker, I love my students for their resilience, curiosity, and the way they support each other every day. Many arrive to class with big hearts and eager minds, but hunger and emotional stress can get in the way of learning. That’s why our project focuses on providing two key types of support: Healthy Snacks and Social Emotional Learning.
SEL supplies like calming strips, therapy posters, fidget toys, will provide the tools to support emotional growth, create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student feels safe to learn, share, and thrive.
