My Project

We love learning how things grow and change, working both in whole class and small group projects. We read about plants and watch the seasons, but being able to observe the entire life cycle of a plant will help my students better understand each stage.

I want to motivate my students to learn and think about our world by using Brassica Rapa seeds in our Grow Lab and using puzzles in small groups to practice cooperation.

We received a Grow Lab several years ago, but it works best with this type of specialized seeds. We also have some puzzles, but the pieces are missing or broken. Having new supplies will jump-start using small cooperative groups.
